The entire production is covered by the two designers who commingle technological skills and hand-craft. The Parisian studio where they work is equipped with a laser cut that ensure a high cutting fidelity for their drawings. As a second step, the pieces are hand-worked, heated, polished and assembled manually.
This unique know-how is an extra quality value for these Made In France products.
Studio Sophie Tam is born from the wish of a french/chinese couple who wanted to create jewels according to their vision.
Toba and Antoine met together during their fine arts studies at l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts.
As they were noticing the particular affinities they shared in their own individual paths, they decided to commingle their ideas and created the brand together during 2017 summer.
If Studio Sophie Tam’s jewels stand out from the crown it’s because they are made by two artists who work freely on their drawings and paintings for years.
Bold, light, joyful
This is how we can describe the brand’s collections. More than jewels, they are tiny and wearable original art pieces.
Acrylic is a plastic material better known as Plexiglas. Distributed by companies concerned about the environment, acrylic is a product of recycling and inserted in the sustainable development approach.
Its original qualities, its transparencies, its tones and reflections offer a very wide choice of combinations of shapes and colors.
